I’m Thomas Helmreich, owner of Helmreich Textile Agency, based in Ravensburg. Serving clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, my agency acts as a vital link between textile component manufacturers and producers of finished goods across various industries.
My Background & Expertise
I started my journey with a degree in Economics from Augsburg, followed by specialized studies in Technical Textile Management at Reutlingen University of Applied Sciences. My hands-on experience includes internships at weaving mills, knitting and embroidery houses, and textile finishing companies. In 1994, I joined my father’s business, taking over as Managing Director in 1997.
With decades of experience as a trusted partner and industry intermediary, I have gained profound insight into the textile supply chain and the evolving needs of manufacturers, designers, and brands.
The Helmreich Textile Agency
My father, Hans Helmreich, founded the agency in 1972, laying the foundation for a business built on trust, expertise, and long-standing industry relationships. Before establishing his own agency, he held leadership positions at a children’s apparel manufacturer and later as Head of Sales at a fabric production company.
Today, Textilagentur Helmreich continues this legacy, combining decades of experience with deep market knowledge, innovative solutions, and a strong focus on sustainability—making us a reliable, future-focused partner.
